    Scope and methodology

This report covers the five African markets CareerBuddy operates in end-to-end — Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana and Egypt — and five role families: Software Engineering, Product & Design, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Operations, and Executive / Leadership, each at Junior, Mid-Level, Senior and Lead. Salary figures are annual gross base salary in USD, drawn from the CareerBuddy recruitment desk's placement and offer data across the reporting window (see version 2026.1, last updated 2026-08-01). Employer statutory costs are modelled separately per country in `COUNTRY_RATES`.
