How CareerBuddy compares
CareerBuddy both recruits and employs across Africa — sourcing and vetting the candidate, then employing them through its employer of record in 50+ countries. Global EOR platforms handle the employment layer but not the search; developer marketplaces supply contractors rather than permanent hires. These pages set out the differences honestly.

Questions
How is CareerBuddy different from an employer-of-record platform?+
An EOR platform employs someone you have already found. CareerBuddy does both — we source and vet the candidate, then employ them on your behalf through our employer of record in 50+ countries, on a single contract.
How is CareerBuddy different from a developer marketplace?+
Marketplaces generally supply contractors who remain engaged through the platform. CareerBuddy places people into your company as permanent employees, or employs them for you via our EOR. We also recruit outside engineering — product, sales, finance, operations and leadership.
Do you publish your pricing?+
Yes. Employer of record starts at $399 per employee per month and recruitment starts at 15% of first-year salary, payable when you hire. Browsing and shortlists are free.
How current are these comparisons?+
Each comparison page shows the date its claims were last checked. Where another provider does not publish a figure, we leave the cell blank and say so rather than printing a number we cannot source.
