How does CareerBuddy work?
You send a role brief. CareerBuddy returns three vetted candidates in 4 business days, you interview and choose, then you either employ the person on your own entity or on CareerBuddy's Employer of Record. Placements carry a 90-day free replacement.

03The five steps
The process is deliberately short. Most of the work happens before you see a CV, in the brief and the scorecard, which is why the shortlist is three people rather than thirty.
- 1. Brief — role, level, budget band, must-have signals, target start date
- 2. Shortlist — three vetted candidates with scorecards in 4 business days
- 3. Interviews — CareerBuddy coordinates scheduling and feedback loops
- 4. Offer — benchmarked against the CareerBuddy salary dataset for that market
- 5. Employment — your entity, or CareerBuddy's EOR if you have none
04What you need to start
A role title, a seniority level, a budget band and the market you want to hire in. If you do not have a budget band, the salary dataset behind the country pages gives you a defensible one before you brief the search.
Frequently asked
How long does the whole hire take?+
A shortlist takes 4 business days. From brief to a signed offer is typically two to three weeks, depending on how quickly interviews are scheduled on your side.
What if none of the three candidates fit?+
The brief gets recalibrated against the feedback and a second shortlist follows. You are not charged for shortlists — the fee attaches to a placement.
